101 Goals in 1001 Days

I saw the group mission101 in the Spotlight and decided to check it out.  It sounds like an interesting concept--setting 101 goals to achieve in 1001 days--so I decided to try it out.  We'll just pretend that I'm starting on January 1st because I like the idea of starting with the new year.  That means I need to finish my goals by September 29th, 2012.

This is a two part post because the list was just so fricken' huge!

 

101 Goals in 1001 Days

 

Career and School

1.         Graduate from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in May 2011

2.         Apply to be a JET Programme 2011 participant

3.         Get a job teaching English abroad

 

Free time

4.         Attend an anime/manga convention with my cousin

5.         Go to a rock concert

6.         Acquire 101 new songs [0/101]

7.         Have a Lord of the Rings movie marathon

8.         Watch all of the Star Wars movies again [0/6]

9.         Watch fifteen foreign films [0/15]

10.     Learn enough guitar to be able to play one popular song

11.     Watch all of the movies on the AFI 100 Year…100 Movies [?/100]

 

Me time

12.     Get a tattoo and  pay for it by setting aside $1 for every walk I go on [$0]

13.     Go to a spa

14.     Go to the movies alone three times [0/3]

 

Craftiness

15.     Learn to knit

16.     Finish sewing throw pillows for my bedroom

17.      Crochet a sweater

18.     Learn to draw well enough that I feel fine scanning it and putting it on my LJ

19.     Make two pieces of art and hang them on the wall [0/2]

 

Food

20.     Eat only vegetarian food for one straight month [0/30]

21.     Try to cook 101 new recipes [0/101]

22.     Make a personal cookbook of 75 of my favorite recipes [0/75]

Oooh! The Discworld novels are awesome. The first books I ever read in English :) I hope you'll enjoy them, I sure did *g*

I like the idea of just getting onto a bus or a tram and then wait where it takes you. Even though I work in Vienna and all my friends live there I still feel like there are lots of places I don't even know exist.

Seems like you've got a lot to do, then :) I hope you get as many of these done as possible.
