Date: 2009-12-30 10:26 pm (UTC)Anime/manga conventions are totally awesome. You'll have to post up pictures!
What kind of tattoo are you thinking of, and where?
Throw pillows. :3
What's your height? 'Cause I'm 5'6" (1.69 meters) and 125 lbs is a perfect weight for me.
Wahh, you must take photos along your travels and post them up! Promise?
I'd love to discuss 1984 once you finish reading it, and I'm curious - which of Jane Austen's books have you read? My personal favorite has to be Pride and Prejudice.

Date: 2009-12-30 10:56 pm (UTC)Tattoo: I've been toying with the idea of a tattoo of cherry blossoms and the quote "What dreams may come" from Shakespeare for about a year now, so I think it's not just a whim anymore. I'd like to get it on my lower abdomen so it doesn't show when I'm wearing normal clothes--although I've heard that preggo stretch marks can be pretty ugly there...
Throw pillows: I started redecorating my room last summer and made some throw pillows for my bed before I left for Europe, but I'd like to finish them when I get back.
Height: 4'11 3/4" (5' on good days, heehee) so I do need to lose some weight, but don't worry, I definitely don't want to be stick thin :D I'm not sure of my weight right now since I haven't seen a scale since August, but considering the desserts you can find in Austria, I'd have to say it's not a pretty number...
Travel: I'm notoriously bad about posting photos, but I'll try!
Books: I've heard such good things about 1984 but have never actually read it. It probably won't be until at least next summer, but I'll let you know what I think of it! And I've read Persuasion, Emma, and Pride and Prejudice by Austen. I really liked P&P, too.
It was really fun thinking up goals for myself, and I tried to make them challenging yet attainable. We'll see how this goes!

Date: 2010-01-01 09:59 pm (UTC)I like the idea of just getting onto a bus or a tram and then wait where it takes you. Even though I work in Vienna and all my friends live there I still feel like there are lots of places I don't even know exist.
Seems like you've got a lot to do, then :) I hope you get as many of these done as possible.
